Founder, Creative Direction, Product Design, Branding, E-Commerce

Founded and designed an independent fashion and culture brand spanning apparel, web, events, and visual identity. Developed complete brand systems including logo, typography, layouts, garment graphics, and marketing assets. Designed and managed an e-commerce website, overseeing product drops and visual presentation. Executed multiple releases with measurable sales, audience growth, and ongoing brand engagement. Beyond apparel, I developed Room 96 - a sub-brand / event series which combined my passion for electronic music culture with Vega’s strong visual aesthetic and artist-based community.

Early Days (2021)

The early days of Vega (2021, 2022) consisted of small, low-budget T-shirt releases, photoshoots with friends, and printing in my parents' basement. I designed and released several products throughout this period, some less inspired than others - somehow, I was able to keep the momentum going and channel enough energy into the brand to push on. My first attempt at working with a manufacturer was for a zip-up garment entitled the “Generations” zip-up. This garment sold out, and I took the success of the release as a sign to keep going!

Find Your Path (Aug 2022)
Vega’s first “big” drop - selling over 100 units of our “Find Your Path” T-shirt and thrusting us into a wider online audience. This release happened right around my high school graduation, following a highschool break up (lol). Regardless, this release and the themes it touched on remain important to me. I was inspired by the movie Trainspotting and its phrase “Choose Life, Choose Your Future.” I was able to settle on my own slogan, “Find Your Path.” It struck a chord with a lot of my peers and seemed to land with my online audience. In 2023, I decided to release a sweatsuit version of the Find Your Path graphic, following it’s intitial success. To this day, this remains my best-selling graphic tee-shirt. The custom tag represents the Lyra constellation, where the star “Vega” is found. This small detail received acclaim from online spheres and has remained apparent in my product design to this day.

If Not Now, When? (October 2023)
My first release while enrolled in the University of Kansas. University gave me access to a way wider network of creatives, photographers, models, and more. I worked with photographer Izze Vanlandingham for this photoshoot, and she was able to connect me with models. Furthermore, this was the debut of our “Microchip” Logo, designed by Kidbeco. This was about the same time as my interest in electronic music appeared, and I started taking visual inspiration from early 2000s rave aesthetics and athletic brands, such as Nike, Reebok, or Adidas. This release included our “DARK STAR, sherpa” garment, which received similar acclaim in online spheres and led to our involvement in a runway show in Chicago, Illinois.
